Since starting my own business I have been fortunate to work with Artists, Galleries,
Museums, Private Clients and Collectors focusing on gilded finishes.

Apprentice Alliance, San Francisco, Ca. 1991-1995
The Apprentice Alliance was started to follow traditional European apprenticeship programs.
During the years that I participated as a Master Gilder, I had the pleasure of training 2 people in traditional water gilding.

Formal Water Gilding Apprenticeship with Robert Kulicke, 1986-1993
This experience with Robert Kulicke, Master Gilder, Painter, Frame and Jewelry Designer
has allowed me to work on various objects and picture frames and go through a traditional Apprenticeship. During this period, I had the opportunity to develop technical skills in picture frame reproduction, modern water gilding, reproduction and restoration work.
